Police seize 9,600 bottles of foreign liquor in Bagaha, smuggler held

Bagaha : A team of Nadi ( River) police station in  Bagaha police district, led by its SHO Subash Mukhia, on a tip off, seized 9,600 bottles of foreign liquor of 180 ml each kept in 200 cartons from a countryboat on September 5, 2018, late night, and arrested a smuggler Navin Kumar of Haryana.

SP, Bagaha police district, Arbind Kumar Gupta, on September 6 said that the liquor cartons were being unloaded from a countryboat to load the same in a Pick-Up Van. Meanwhile, police team reached there and seized the liquor  cartons. Although the boatman fled away seeing police, but a smuggler from Haryana Navin Kumar was arrested. Police seized the Pick-Up van and the countryboat.

SP Gupta said that it was a big achievement of Bagaha police. SHO, Nadi police station, Mukhia will be rewarded for it, the SP said.
