Goons abduct injured woman, kid from Sadar Hospital, Saharsa

Saharsa : Abduction of a poor woman Mira Devi along with her daughter from Sadar Hospital, Saharsa, in full view of some patients admitted in Women’s Surical Ward on July 22, 2018, night, by 10 goons in a car has created sensation in the area. Mira’s father Rambhajan Ram, in a complaint lodged with police, has alleged that his daughter was abducted around 8 pm by 10 goons of Tutu Yadav, son of an an RJD MLA Arun Yadav.

Rambhajan said that he was present when his daughter was abducted by the goons and he had shouted for help but they forcibly put her into a car with her child and escaped. Attendant of a patient too said that some people entered the ward and abducted the woman.

Rambhajan alleged that Tutu Yadav had on July 19, 2018, beaten up his daughter Mira Devi with wire after she refused to transplant paddy in his field. An injured Mira was admitted to a private hospital where she stayed for three day and was admitted to Sadar Hospital, Saharsa, on July 22, he said.

SDPO, Saharsa, Prabhakar Tiwary, said that police would take appropriate action on the complaint lodged by the father of the abducted woman.
