Bagaha: A Pathakauli police team in Bagaha Police District led by its SHO Sunil Kumar, on a tip off, conducted a raid at Ausani Mor on July 22, 2018, and seized 20 litres of country liquor from a bag being carried on a motorbike. Police also arrested a liquor smuggler Munna Yadav while the pillion rider managed to escpae.
In another development, police arrested Charan Sao of village Nautan Dhumnagar from village Kailashnagar, where he had come to meet his wife at her paternal house had scuffle with her in a drunken state. A Case was registered with police station in this connection. Both the arrested persons were sent to Bettiah district jail the same day.
