Patna : Replying to Mumbai Indians (MI)’s 210/6 in 20 overs, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) were 67/4 after 9 overs. KKR opener Sunil Narine fell to Mitchell McClenaghan, New Zealand, after scoring just four runs. It was a big setbak to the KKK as he is known for scoring fast and hitting big sixes. Narine’s opening partner Chris Lynn, Australia, was run out for 21 in 15 ball hitting 3 fours and a six when the team score was 32.

Robin Uthappa got out to spinner Mayank Markande after scoring 14 runs in 13 ball hitting 2 sixes when the score was 49. Andre Russel, who is also known for hitting huge sixes, got  out for just 2 runs to MI allrounder Hardik Pandya. Nitish Rana was batting on 21 while captain Dinesh Karthik was batting on 1.
