Patna : Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) were all out for 146 in 20 overs against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the 39th match of IPL 2018 at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad, on May 7, 2018, with captain Kane Williamson, New Zealand, scoring 56 in 39 ball with 5 fours and 2 sixes. Allrounder Shakib Al Hasan, Bangladesh, scored 35 in 32 ball with 5 fours.

RCB won the toss but opted to bowl. Batting first, SRH lost wickets at regular intervals and could score only 146. Openers Shikhar Dhawan and Alex Hales, England,  scored 13 and 5 runs respectively while Yusuf Pathan was out for 12. Manish Pandey made 5 while wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha was out for 8.

For RCB, fast bowles Tim Southee, New Zealand, and Mohammad Siraj took three wickets each while Umesh Yadav and spinner Yuzvendra Chahal took one wicket each. Southee took 3/30 in 4 overs while Siraj took 3/25 in 4 overs. Rashid Khan and Siddarth Kaul were run out.
