Professional dancers stage dharna on police station campus in Bhojpur

Ara : Professional dancers staged dharana on the campus of Narayanpur police station in Bhojpur district whole night on May 1, 2018, and refused to perform dance programme till they were provided security.

A Baarat from village Tirthkaun under Sandesh police station had come to Ganesh Singh’s house at Narayanpur Bazaar under Narayanpur police station on May 1 night. Some professional dancers had also come with the Baarat. As they started their dance programme, some youth pressurized the dancers to dance on their tune. The youth also started thrashing the dancers and members of their party. The dancers and their associates somehow escaped from there and reached Narayanpur police station and demanded security for them. No FIR was lodged till filling of this report.
