Bagaha : Three teachers of Upgraded Government Middle School, Banchahari, under Bagaha-1 block in West Champaran district, were found absent from duty on April 17, 2018, during a sudden inspection of the school by Additional Election Officer, Bagaha Sub- division, Anil Patel, following directive SDM Bagaha, Ghanshyam Meena.
The SDM had ordered for the sudden inspection of the school after receiving many complaints from villagers about teachers of Upgraded Government Middle School, Banchahari, not holding classes regularly.
The three teachers found absent during inspection were: Mithileshpati Tiwari, Puranjan Deopati Tiwari, and Anand Shankar Sah. In fact, there had been absent from duty for past few days.The SDM, Bagaha, on April 18 said that show cause notices had been served on the three aforesaid teachers and steps had been taken to withhold their salary. The inspection report report has been sent to the State Education Department for necessary action, the SDM said.
