10 notorious criminals arrested in Muzaffarpur, Vaishali

Muzaffarpur : Ten notorious criminals were arrested on April 15, 2918, evening, in a joint operation by Muzaffarpur and Vaishali district police. Police seized three pistols and 20 live rounds from the possession of the arrested criminals, accordding to SSP, Muzaffarpur, Vivek Kumar. While seven criminals were arrested under Saraiya and Paroo police stations in Muzaffarpur, three other criminals were arrested in Vaishali.

Meanwhile, the continued deterioration in law & order in Muzaffarpur district has become a cause of major concern for the locals. Some organisations have demanded immediate transfer of all the police officials of the district. The locals staged a Candle March at Muzaffarpur to protest police failure in checking crimes in the district. Some Ward Councillors of Muzaffarpur Municipal Corporation also observed fast in this connection on April 16.
