Foreign Minister of Egypt Shoukry calls on PM Modi

New Delhi : Sameh Hassan Shoukry, Foreign Minister of Egypt, who is on a visit to India in the context of Seventh Meeting of the bilateral Joint Commission, called on Prime Minister  Narendra Modi on March 23,2018.

Shoukry conveyed to Prime Minister Modi greetings from President Sisi of Egypt. Prime Minister Modi requested the Minister to convey his best wishes to President Sisi.

The two dignitaries discussed the shared commitment of India and Egypt to strengthen bilateral engagement. Deepening of cooperation in areas such as infrastructure, trade and investment and people-to-people relations were also discussed, according to a PIB release,
