Patna : Eight Bihar Police Service Officers, who were promoted to IPS in 2010, have been promoted to the DIG rank and payscale. This follows revision of their promotion to the IPS to 2004 batch with effect from March 14, 2018. Earlier, these officers were placed in 2005 batch.
The 8 IPS officers promoted to the payscale of DIG are : Virendra Narayam Jha, Shankar Jha, Shiv Kumar Jha, Pankaj Sinha, Lallan Mohan Prasad, Sudhir Kumar Singh, Shekhar Kumar, and Jitendra Mishra.
