Contract of Satish S Thakur, OSD to CS, extended by 1 year

Patna : Bihar government on March 9, 2018, extended the contractual service of retired IAS officer Satish Singh Thakur, who was on October 23, 2006, appointed on contract as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Chief Secretary (CS), Bihar, by one year. Thakur’s contract was to expire on March 31, 2018. Beginning April 1, 2018, his contract has been extended till March 31, 2019, relaxing the upper age limit of 65 years.

The General Administration Department (GAD), Bihar Government, issued a notification to this effect on March 9 itself. His services will be under Cabinet Secretariat Department. On September 15, 2017, the Government had extended Thakur’s contract from October 21, 2017, to March 31, 2018. Thakur retired from service in January 2005.
