Patna : Bihar Government on February 15, 2018, gave three-months’ extension in service to state Chief Secretary Anjanai Kumar Singh, a 1981 batch Bihar cadre IAS officer. Singh, a native of Begusarai district, was appointed Bihar Chief Secretary on July 1, 2014, and was scheduled to superannuate on February 28, 2018.
Singh’s service has now been extended till May 31, 2018. The Personnel & Training Department, Government of India, gave its approval to a proposal to this effect of Bihar Government, on February 9, 2018. The General Administration Department, Bihar Government, issued a notification to this effect on February 15, 2018.
