Dr Ashima Jain, IAS, relieved for central deputation

Patna : Bihar Government on February 15, 2018, relieved Dr Ashima Jain, a 2008 batch Bihar cadre IAS officer and Additional Secretary, Labour Resources Department, following her appointment as Private Secretary to Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industry, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti. The General Administration Department, Bihar Government, issued a notification to this effect on February 15 itself.

Ashima Jain was also holding additional charge of Director, Employment & Training, and Additional Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Bihar Skill Development Mission, Patna. The Personnel & Training Department, Government of India, had on February 10, 2018, requested Bihar Government to relieve Ashima Jain for central deputation.
