Explosion at Dharamshala rocks Ara, 2 injured criminals nabbed

Ara : An explosion at Harkhain Kumar Jain Dharamshala at Ara, headquarters of Bhojpur district, at 7 am on February 15, 2018, rocked the town, 71 km away from Patna. Five criminals had checked in at the Dharamashala early in the morning. Two of the criminals were injured in the blast and were arrested by police. The remaining three managed to escape though they too had sustained injury in the blast. The Dharmshala is located near Sheeshmahal Chowk under Town Police station, Ara.

The criminals had come from Kolkata by a train at 6.30 am on February 15 itself on a major mission and checked in at the Dharamshala but suddenly the bomb exploded. They were allegedly planning to commit bank loot.

One of the injured, Madan Paswan, was referred to Patna Medical College Hospital (PMCH) while the other Jitendra Kumar has been admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital. Police are not allowing anyone to reach the injured criminal at Ara Sadar Hospital. Police seized a pistol from the blast spot. The criminals had reached Ara allegedly at the behest of Jitendra Kumar, a local, with 10 bombs.
