Nawada: The  week-long colourful ‘Museum Saptah’ event organised by Nardah Museum concluded on January 31, 2018. The cultural and competitive extravaganza, which was inaugurated by Nawada DM Kaushal Kumar on January 24,witnessed the participation of hundreds of school and college students besides people of different walks of life.

The museum, founded by Nawada district’s first DM Narendra Pal Singh, is a treasure house of various artefacts and historical images and coins dating from the early civilization.
Many school teachers as well as students participated in various competitive contests like painting, essay writing, rangoli, poetry and dance. The prizes were awarded to winners by a committee of eminent persons from various fields of the district. Curator Dr Vinay
Kumar and co-ordinator Anil Kumar informed that the youth evinced keen interest in ancient culture of India.
