Bagaha : A farmer Chhotelal Yadav of Harkh tola in Motipur panchayat under Thakaraha police station (PS) in Bagaha police district was beaten to death by five persons in a land dispute on November 24, 2017.
Police sources said that Govind Yadav, son of Shankar Yadav of the village, lodged an FIR against Ramanand Yadav, Amarjit Yadav, Sikandar Yadav, Chhabila Yadav and Bali Yadav of the same village charging them with killing his brother Chhotelal Yadav and when he reached the place to rescue Chhotelal Yadav he too was seriously injured by the assailants on November 24.
SHO, Thakaraha PS, Suresh Kumar said that police sent the body to Bagaha sub-divisional hospital for autopsy on November 25. Police are, however, yet to arrest any named accused.
