Ara : An undertrial prisoner of Ara jail Lallan Singh, son of Rajdeo Singh of village Siyadih under Charpokhari police station in Bhojpur district, died in the late evening on November 23, 2017. He was arrested and sent to jail on November 22, 2017, in connection with murder of his wife.
Jailor Niranjan Kumar said that Lalan Singh suddenly fell on the ground in the late evening on November 23. The jail administration immediately rushed him to Ara Sadar Hospital but he breathed his last on way to the hospital. A three- member team of doctors performed his post-mortem in the night.
