Cir. Inspector, Ramnagar, arrested by Vigilance Bureau accepting bribe

Bagaha : A State Vigilance Investigation Bureau team on November 1, 2017, arrested Circle Inspector (Revenue) Ramnagar Anchal  in West Champaran district Jagayee Ram from Anchal office premises while accepting a bribe of Rs 5,ooo from a farmer Rabikesh Pandey of village Mahuyee for issuing land revenue receipt.

DSP, Vigilance Bureau, Maharaja Kanishk Kumar who was leading the bureau team, said that CI Ram was had been demanding a bribe of Rs 10,000 and Pandey was paying Rs 5,000 as the first installment of the bribe. Meanwhile, the Vigilance Bureau team reached the scene and caught Circle Inspector Jagayee Ram accepting bribe. The bureau team took CI Ram away to its to its state headquarters at Patna for further interrogation.
