Saharsa siblings excel at 14th Uttrakhand Inter-School shooting event

Saharsa : Two Saharsa boys : Devansh Priya, 17, and Ekansh Priya, 13, both siblings and students of Lucent International School, Suddhowala, Dehradun, Uttrakhand, continue to spring surprises at shooting competitions. At the 14th Uttrakhand Inter-school/College Rifle Shooting Competion 2017 held from September 5 to September 8, 2017, Devansh won four Gold Medals while his younger brother Ekansh bagged two Gold Medals and a Silver Medal representing Lucent International School.

Devansh won Gold Medals in 10 m Air Rifle (team), 10 m Air Rifle individual, 50 m Air Rifle individual and 50 m Air Rifle team events. Ekansh bagged Gold Medals in 10 m individual and 10 m sitting and Silver Medal in 10 m Rifle (team) events. Lucent International  School won was declared winner of the Boy’ Chamionship.

After having their early education at Saharsa, Devansh and Ekansh got admission to Lucent International School in 2013 as both of them wanted to be shooting champion since childhood. Their grand father Laxman Singh is a retired government employees while father Buddhinath Singh is a journalist and mother Shweta Singh is a houswife. Devansh is Standard XII student while Ekansh is a student of  Standard VIII. Both of them had earlier won Gold and Silver Medal at 13th Uttrakhand State Shooting Championship
