Kin of deceased vandalise Buxar Sadar hospital, beat doctor, staff

Buxar : Family members of a deceased went on rampage at Buxar Sadar Hospital on June 30, 2017,  and also beat up the doctor and the employees who were on duty after the doctor declared that the person was brought dead to the hospital.

SHO, Buxar Town Police Station, Raghav Dayal, said that two groups had clashed at village Bara in  Gazipur district in Uttar Pradesh over fencing of a cemetery in which Amirullah Khan, son of Shahabuddin Khan, was shot dead. After the murder, his family members brought Amirullah Khan to Buxar Sadar Hospital where the doctor said that he was brought dead. At this his family members got angry and went on rampage. They damaged property of the hospital and also beat up doctor and employees of the hospital, the SHO said. On getting information, police rushed to the spot but by the time they reached there the deceased’s family members had fled away.

The SHO said that all the events were recorded in the CCTV and the miscreants will not be spared at any cost. He said that his counterpart in Uttar Pradesh was being contacted for their speedy arrest.
