N K Sinha assumes charge as Secretary, I & B

New Delhi : Narendra Kumar Sinha, a Bihar cadre 1980 batch IAS officer, on June 30, 2017,  assumed charge as Secretary in the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting on transfer of Ajay Mittal, IAS. Prior to his appointment as Secretary, I &B,  Sinha was Secretary, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, according to a PIB release. Sinha will retire on May 31, 2018.

Sinha is an M.E (Electrical) from IISc, Bengaluru. He also has an MBA from Southern Cross University, Australia, and is a Fellow of Institution of Engineers (India).
