Ara: A middleage woman Rampati Devi, 45, wife of Srinath Thakur of village Karaja under Barahara police station in Bhojpur district died due to electrocution when she came in contact with a live electric wire while cleaning her house. Later, the police brought the body to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
Liquor seized: Bhojpur police, on a tip off, conducted raid at Satnam Hotel at Piro on Sunday and seized 18 bottles of liquor meant to be supplied to a military canteen and arrested its owner.
