Fish trader shot at, Rs 6 lakh looted

Ara: Some unidentified armed criminals shot at and injured a fish merchant and looted about Rs 6 lakh from him near Nayaka Tol mor under Jagdishpur police station on Wednesday evening. The miscreants escaped on a Scorpio firing in the air. The SHO, Jagdishpur police station, said that the some miscreants on a Scorpio shot at and injured a fish merchant Kush Turha and looted about Rs 6  lakh from him from him and escaped. As he received the information, he chased the vehicle. Seeing the police, the criminals left the vehicle near Deoghar petrol pump on Ara-Bihia main road and disappeared. He said the police seized the Scorpio and also double barrel countrymade pistols and two live cartridges. The SHO also said that a police team also chased the miscreants and arrested Sonu, son of the owner of the vehicle, and his uncle Shashi.
