LG company technician shot dead in Saharsa

Saharsa : Unidentified criminals carrying firearms shot dead a technician of LG company Amit Ranjan, son of  Tarkeshwar Singh of village Soha, at Navtolia Shahpur near Shiv Mandir under Sonbersa Raj police station in Saharsa district at 8 pm on April 16, 2017.

Amit was returning to his Kayasthtoli residence at Saharsa on his bike after removing snags in company’s electronics items supplied to customers in rural areas under Sonbersa Raj police station. When Amit reached near Shiv Mandir at village Navtolia Shahpur, criminals asked him to stop and lootedhis belongings and after that shot at him on the neck killing him on the spot.

The passers by saw him lying on the road. They identified him and informed his villagers, who rushed to the spot. JSI, Sonbersa Raj police station, Mulindo Murmu, reached the place  of occurrence and sent the body to Saharsa Sadar hospital for post-mortem. Amit is survived by his wife and two children.
