Muzaffarpur : Property dealer Dipak Ojha alias Sanjay Ojha, who was missing for the last ten days, has been killed by unidentified criminals after administering him poison and dumping him near village Khakhra beside Tirhut canal embankment under Tukri police outpost in Muzaffarpur district on April 3, 2017, night.

Dipak Ojha was a resident of Khabra under Sadar police station, Muzaffarpur. Before falling unconscious after being dumped at Khakhra by the criminals, Dipak Ojha had called up his brother and a villager at 10 pm on April 3 informing them about his whereabouts. His family members and villagers immediately rushed there but found him unconscious with his cellphone lying on the spot. They admitted him to a private clinic where he died the same night.

After post-mortem of the body on April 4, police recorded the statement of his brother Navin Ojha, a class four government employee. Navin suspected his brother was killed under a conspiracy due to professional rivalry  though he did not name any person in this regard. He, however, said that Dipak Ojha’s mobile phone call detail could reveal it. Muzaffarpur SSP Vivek Kumar directed DSP Ashish Anand to probe into the murder of Dipak Ojha.
