Muzaffarpur : Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology (MIT), Muzaffarpur, students on February 19, 2017, blocked traffic at Laxmi Chowk under Brahmpur police station demanding change of their annual exam centre from L S College, Muzaffarpur, to any other college.
Confirming that the MIT students have blocked Laxmi Chowk, Muzaffarpur SSP Vivek Kumar said the students are saying that any other exam centre is acceptable to them but not L S College. The MIT students are alleging that the last time when their exam centre was at L S College, the local students had created troubles for them, the SSP said adding that SDO and DSP were talking to MIT students to pacify them. He said that the district administration had spoken to MIT Principal and the technical authorities concerned in this regard. The first day of the exam was scheduled for February 19 itself.
