SSB jawans seize 7 kg Charas, 7 kg Ganja in W Champaran

Bettiah : SSB Jawans of 44th Battalion, Narakatiaganj, posted at Border out post (BOP), Nakardeyee, under Enarawa police station in West Champaran district of North Bihar, seized 7 kg Charas and 7 kg Ganja from border pillar no.420/5 near Devi ghat. SSB Commandant Rajesh Tikku said that when the jawans were on night patrolling on the border on February 11 night, they saw the smugglers and chased them they were crossing into Indian territory with contraband good. Finding themselves getting encircled, the smugglers ran towards Nepal leaving behind Charas and Ganja worth Rs 1.70 crore in international market, Tikku said.
