80,656 consumers to get LPG through pipe in Bhojpur, Buxar, Rohtas & Kaimur

Ara : LPG will be supplied to 80,656 consumers through pipe in Bhojpur, Buxar, Rohtas, and Kaimur district in the first phase. BJP MP from Ara and and Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Power, New and Renewable Energy Raj Kumar Singh on March 9, 2019, said that now the LPG consumers need not to go the gas agency for LPG cylinders. Pipes are being laid at an  estimated cost of Rs 439 crore and LPG gas will be supplied to the consumers through the pipes henceforth.

Union Minister R K Singh, Chief General Manager, Indian Oil Corporation, S K Nandi, and General Manager IOC, Pawan Kumar Singh jointly inaugurated the Ara Town Gas Development and Supply System Awareness Programme on March 9. The Union Minister said that the LPG consumers will get the LPG at cheap rate and that too without any problem. He said that the government will very soon provide electric potter wheels to the potters facilitating them make more earthen pots and toys with precision and also at low cost earning more for their families. He inaugurated a training centre in Maulabagh locality, Ara,  on the day.
