Ara : In a bizarre incident, a cousin brother tried to outrage modesty of his eight year old sister when she was going to her school on January 21, 2019, at village Joga Kharaicha under Chauri police station in Bhojpur district. A named FIR has been lodged with Women’s police station, Ara, against Sintu Kumar, son of Babu Ram Mahto, on the statement of the girl’s mother but no arrest has so far been made in this connection.
SHO, Women’s police station, Poonam Kumari said that the 8 year old girl was going to her school on January 21 when her cousin brother Sintu Kumar caught her by arms and took her to a secluded place where he tried to outrage her modesty but her elder sister reached on the spot on time hearing the cry of her younger sister. Seeing her, Sintu Kumar escaped. The SHO said that police were conducting raids to arrest the accused.
