Muzaffarpur : Eight persons died spot on the and five others were seriously injured in a head on collision between a speeding truck and an auto at village Jhapaha under Ahiyapur police station in Muzaffarpur district at 1pm on February 10, 2017. All the injured were admitted to SKMCH, Muzaffarpur. SHO, Ahiyapur police station, confirmed death of seven persons in the accident. The truck was on coming from Muzaffarpur while the auto was on way to Muzaffarpur. The drivers of both the vehicles lost control over their vehicle which resulted in the accident. All the seven deceased and those injured were travelling by the auto. Angry over the death of seven persons, the locals blocked the road. The state government announced a compensation of Rs 4 lakh each to all the eight deceased.
