Three notorious criminals arrested in Bhojpur

Ara: Bhojpur police, on a tip off, arrested three members of an inter district gang on November 13 evening. They were identified as Tezu alias Vishwajit Yadav, 23, son of Birendra Yadav of Nawada under Sahar police station, Pappu Kumar, 20, son of Siyaram Singh of Ranni under Pawana police station in Bhojpuri district and Shiv Narayan Kumar, 25, son of Ram Ugrah Rai of Bidupur Dih under Vidupur police station in Vaishali district. Police also seized two .315 bore countrymade pistols, two .315 bore live cartridges, one blank cartridge, a gold ring, three gold lockets, a gold mangtika, one gold kalsoop, a mobile and two motorcycles from their possession.

Bhojpur SP Kshatranil Singh talking with the mediapersons on Monday said that he got information that four armed miscreants on two motorcycles had snatched jewellery and cash from a businessman Manoj Kumar,32, son of Jagdish Prasad of Sandesh village under the same police station  in Bhojpur district near Karwasin Brahmsthan main road under Azimabad police station at pistol point when he was returning home after shutting down his shop at Nanaur village under Sahar police station on Sunday evening. He immediately ordered to seal the border and asked police officials to chase and arrest the criminals.

Seeing police and a mob, the criminals left their motorcycles in the field near Sewatha village Musahar Toli under Sahar police station and escaped. The miscreants also fired in the air but the villagers chased and caught them. The villagers thrashed them in which Tezu alias Vishwajit Yadav was injured. In the meantime, police e reached the spot nd arrested the miscreants. Police later admitted Tezu alias Vishwajit Yadav to Ara Sadar Hospital.

The SP said that he Tezu is the mastermind of the gang which operated in Patna, Arwal, Vaishali, Samastipur, Bhojpur and other districts and gang members are wanted by the police of these districts in several cases of loot and murder. They were arrested and bailed out more than once.

The SP stated that the criminals had snatched a motorcycle from Dhan Ji Thakur of Belaur village under Udwantnagar police station near Siyadih village under Charpokhari police station on November 11, 2016, after stabbing him and then snatched jewellery from Manoj Kumar on November 13 evening. The SP said that Tezu had escaped from Remand Home in 2011 and had appeared at the matriculation examination in 2015. He was arrested by  Patna police and was kept in Phulwarisarif jail but later he was bailed out. He said that Tezu entered  the crime world ini2011 and formed his gang when he was in Phulwarisarif jail in Patna. His father Birendra Yadav, an auto driver,  had admitted him to a school at Phulwarisharif. Tezu had fired at a doctor in Patna on May 24, 2016, and snatched his him car.

Tezu alias Vishwajit Yadav said at Ara Sadar Hospital that Vikas Jha, a historysheeter of Samastipur, had demanded a motorcycle from him and so he had to snatched the motorcycle. He snatched jewellery to meet the requirements of the gang.
