Aurangabad: All the seventy persons, who fell ill due to food poisoning after taking dinner at a Shradh function at village Kotwara under Rafiganj block in Aurangabad district in Bihar on Sunday night and were rushed to a hospital located nearby, were discharged from there on Monday morning after treatment.
Medical Officer Mithlesh Kumar said that they fell sick due to food poisoning. He suggested villagers to take fresh food, take safe drinking water and wash hands before and after taking food. He also asked them never to attend the call of nature in an open field to avoid food poisoning. According to the villagers, the Shradh function was held at the house of one Rambilas Paswan on Sunday. But, after taking dinner some persons started vomiting and were rushed to hospital.
