7 year old girl raped at Bhojpur billage, accused yet to be arrested

Ara : Modesty of a minor girl was outraged at village Sokharapur under Hasan Bazaar Police Outpost on April 19, 2019,  afternoon when all the members of the family had gone to the field for harvesting crops and she was all alone at her house. When the girl’s parents went to complain, the family members of the accused thrashed them and also threatened to eliminate their son if they dared lodge an FIR with police in this connection.

But the mother of the girl lodged a named FIR with Women’s Police Station, Ara, against two youth of the village : Dilip Yadav and his brother Pradeep Yadav. Police brought the survivor over to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination and will produce her before the court on April 22, 2019, to get her statement registered under Section 164 of CrPC. The accused are absconding after the incident.

SHO, Women’s Police Station, Madhuri Kumari, said that the seven year old girl was at her house at village Sokharapur under Hasan Bazaar police outpost as her father, mother, and brother had gone to the wheat field for harvesting on April 19, 2019. Their neighbour Dilip Yadav and the son of the owner of the wheat field had also gone to the field. In the afternoon, Dilip Yadav returned home and entered the house of the girl and outraged her modesty after tying her hands and feet and returned home.

When the family members returned home in the evening, the girl narrated her ordeal. At this, they went to Dilip Yadav’s house to complain but Dilip Yadav and his brother Pradeep Yadav thrashed them and also threatened them to eliminate their son if they dared lodge FIR against them. But the girl’s mother instituted a named FIR against Dilip Yadav and Pradeep Yadav in this connection. The SHO said that  police are conducting raids to arrest the named accused.
