Patna : In a major reshuffle of police administration, Bihar Government on April 7, 2018, transferred 21 IPS officers. They include four IPS probationers. Seven IPS officers of 2004 batch have been promoted to DIG rank.
Birendra Narain Jha, SP Rail, Muzaffarpur, and a 2004 batch IPS officer, has been promoted to DIG rank and appointed DIG, Rail, Patna. SP, Rail, Jamapur, and IPS officer of 2004 batch, Shankar Jha, has also been promoted to DIG rank and appointed DIG, State Vigilance Investigation Bureau, Patna. Shiv Kumar Jha ( 2004), SP, Vigilance Investigation Bureau, has been promoted to DIG rank and appointed DIG, Economic Offence Unit (EOU),
Pankaj Sinha( 2004), SP, Naugachhia, has been promoted to DIG rank and appointed DIG, Spcial Branch. Lallan Mohan Prasad ( 2004), SP, Rural, Patna, too has been promoted to DIG rank and appointed DIG, Champaran Range.
Shekhar Kumar ( 2004), Commandant, Homeguards, Patna, has been promoted and appinted DIG, Prsonnel, Patna. Jitendra Mishra (2004), SP, Rail, Patna, has also been promoted and appointed DIG, Munger Range.
Prakash Nath Mishra ( 2005), SP, Sheohar, has been shifted and appointed SP, Traffic, Patna, while Pankaj Kumar Raj (2006), who was waiting for posting, has been appointed SP, State Crime Record Bureau, Patna.
Rajendra Kumar Bheel, an IP officer of 2011 batch and SP, Sheikhpura, has been transferred and appointed Commandant, Homeguards, Patna. Anand Kumar, an IPS officer of 2012 batch and ADC to Bihar Governor, has been transferred and appointed SP, Rural, Patna.
Kartikeya Kumar Sharma, an IPS officer of 2014 batch and SDPO, Siwan, has been shifted and appointed SP, Lakhisarai. Ms Nidhi Rani, an IPS officer of 2014 batch and SDPO, Jhanjharpur, Madhubani, has been transferred and appointed SP, Naugachhia. Santosh Kumar ( 2014), SDPO, Dalsingsarai, Samastipur, has also been transferred and appointed SP, Sheohar. Daya Shankar ( 2014), SDPO, Jagdishpur, Bhojpur, has benn transferred and appointed SP, Sheikhpura.
Arvind Thakur, a newly promoted IPS officer and SP, Lakhisarai, has been shifted and appointed Assistant to IG, BMP. Pramod Kumar Mandal, also a newly promoted IPS officer and SP cum OSD, CID, has been appointed Commandant, BMP 3, Bodh Gaya.
Yogendra Kumar, an IPS probationer of 2014 batch, has been appointed SDPO, Jhanjharpur, while Kantesh Kumar Mishra, an IPS probationer of 2015 batch, has been appointed SDPO, Siwan. Manjit, an IPS probationer of 2015 batch, has been appointed SDPO, Jagdishpur, while Sushil Kumar, also an IPS probationer of 2015 batch, has been appointed SDPO, Imamganj, Gaya.
