7-day training programme for NCC cadets begins at Ara

Ara : A seven- day firing training camp of 5 Bihar Bn NCC got underway on the campus of Maharaja College, Ara, on April 25, 2017. Seventy cadets including 25 female cadets from different schools and colleges in Bhojpur district are participating at the training camp.

Commanding Officer, 5 Bihar Bn NCC, Col Binod Joshi said the cadets are being imparted training in firing and handling firearms for their all round development and enabling them to get jobs in the army. He said that this training programme was organized under practice for group competition. He  said that 8 best cadets will be selected who will join Group Headquarters at Gaya from where they will take part in the firing competitions at Biharsharif, Barauni and New Delhi.
