Bagaha SDM seals two shops for selling duplicate cement

Bagaha : Two shops at village Rampur under Laukaria police station under Bagaha-2 block in West Champaran district, were sealed on the charge of selling duplicate cement  by SDM, Bagaha, Dharmendar Kumar on April 25 , 2017.

Sources said that the SDM along with supply officials suddenly conducted raid at the two cement sell centres :Ashok Traders and Rajmohan Traders, at Rampur and found about 700 bags of duplicate cement of different varieties and sealed the shops.

However, the two traders Ashok Jaisawal and Rajmohan Jaisawal managed to escape. The SDM said that Marketing Officer of Bagaha-2 block Santu Singh has ordered for lodgings FIRs against the two traders under various sections of Essential Commodities Act and under 420 and 482 sections of the IPC. The two traders are still at large, sources said adding that earlier the duo had been jailed in fraud cases.
