640 bottles of Homoeopathic Mother Tincture seized at Sasaram

Sasaram : Sleuths of Excise department, on a tip off, seized 640 bottles of Homoeopathic mother tincture each of 450 ml packed in 32 cartons from Sasaram Bus stand in Rohtas district on April 4, 2018, late evening.

Assistant Commissioner, Excise Department, Dr Anand said that he got information that Homeopathy medicine were being smuggled from Gharwa in Jharkhand to Sasaram by Dharmveer Bus. As the bus entered the Bus stand at Sasaram, the sleuths of Excise Department intercepted it and searched each and every passenger and their belongings. When the dickey of the bus was opened, they found Homoeopathic mother tincture packed in 32 cartoons. He said no one could be arrested as none claimed the consignment. He said that the homeopathy medicine were smuggled for manufacturing liquor.
