6 ANMs injured as three-wheeler overturns at Bhojpur village

Ara : Six Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANMs) were injured when a three-wheeler carrying them overturned near Behara Mathia under Udwantnagar police station in Bhojpur district on November 11, 2018, morning on Sunday. The injured ANMs were admitted to Sadar Hospital, Ara.

The injured ANMs were identified as Sarbati Devi, Sushma Kumari, Prema Kumari, Asha Devi, Kumari Munni, and Asha Kumari, all posted at Primary Health Centre (PHC), Udwantnagar.

The ANMs were going on their duty but police on traffic duty diverted the three- wheeler towards Behara due to traffic jam. As the three- wheeler reached near Behara Mathia, the driver lost control and the vehicle overturned injuring at least ANMs.
