57 killed in lightning and storm in Bihar on June 21

Patna : Principal Secretary, Disaster Management Department (DMD),  Vyashji on Wednesday said that 57 persons were killed  in lightning and storm on Tuesday in different districts of Bihar.  Twentyfour persons sustained burn injuries,  according to  an official report. Vyasji said that  Rs 4 lakh  each would be given to the families of the victims by the respective district administration . The injured persons too  would be given proper  compensation  by the district administration concerned. He said 13  domestic animals were also killed due to lightning in the state.
