Motihari: An Excise department team , on a tip off, conducted raid at the godown of one Deepak Kumar at Sangrampur on October 23 evening and seized 528 bottles of liquor. The godown is located just about one hundred metre away from Sangrampur police station in East Champaran district. Earlier, a licenced liquor shop was running from the godown. It is believed that the liquor business continued even after enforcement of complete prohibition in the state on April 5, 2016. The Excise department team was led by Inspector Kulwant Kumar.
