Samastipur : Police seized 5,000 bottles of foreign liquor hidden in a sand laden truck parked at a line hotel at village Satanpur on NH 28 under Ujiyarpur police station in Samastipur district on December 14, 2016. The STF team, on a tip off, conducted raid at the line hotel and seized 5,000 bottles of foreign liquor kept in 450 cartons hidden under the sand on the truck. Sources said that the line hotel belongs to a Chowkidar posted at Ujiyarpur police station. The truck driver managed to escape. Police have taken an employee of the hotel under their custody for interrogation.
