Bagaha : Traffic Inspector Sunil  Kumar, West Champaran, caught 50 vehicles violating amended  Motor Vehicles  Act on NH 727 near Bagaha  district police  headquarters on September 7, 2019, and realised Rs 1 lakh from them as fine. Traffic Inspector Sunil  Kumar, with his associates has launched a motor vehicle checking drive to implement amended Motor  Vehicles  Act. The amended Motor Vehicles  Act provides for enhanced penalty.

Traffic Inspector Sunil  Kumar said that the objective of the amended Act is not  to collect fine but to create awareness about road safety among the vehicles owners.
