Saharsa : A five year boy Sawan Kumar, son of Arun Sada of village Jamunia under Simribakhtiarpur police station in Saharsa district, was seriously injured and died during treatment at Sub-divisional hospital, Simribakhtiarpur, after a bike rider dashed him on June 9, 2017, when he was playing near Middle School, Jamunia.
The bike rider was coming from Simribakhtiarpur. Although the villagers seized the bike and handed it over to police, the bike rider managed to escape. SHO, Simribakhtiarpur police station, Umshankar Kamat, said that an FIR had been lodged and police investigation into the incident.
