Muzaffarpur : The severe cold wave sweeping Muzaffarpur district in North Bihar claimed human lives in different parts of the district on January 5, 2018.

While two each died under Bochaha and Motipur blocks one person died under Katra block on January 5 increasing the death toll due to cold wave to 13 in the district. The respective Mukhias gave Rs 3,000 each the families concerned under ‘Kabir Antyesti Yojna’. The minimum temperature is hovering 5.8 degree C in the district. All the trains are running almost 10 hours late while Vaishali Express was cancelled on January 6.
