Patna : Bihar Government on January 29, 2018, promoted one IAS officer of 2008 batch and 4 IAS officers of 2009 batch to the Additional Secretary rank ( Junior Selection Grade).
Giriwar Dayal Singh ( 2008), Joint Secretary, Education Department, has been promoted to the Additional Secretary rank with effect from January 1, 2017.
Saket Kumar, Director, Handicrats and Silk Directorate, Raman Kumar, DM, East Champaran, M Ramchandrudu, Director, Primary Education, Bihar, and Seema Tripaty, Joint Secretary, Animal and Fishery Resources Department, of 2009 batch of IAS, have been promoted to the Additional Secretary rank with effect from January 1, 2018. The General Administration Department (GAD) issued a notification to this effect on January 29.
