5-day training programme for SOs, WHO, from Apr 18

Patna : A five-day training programme of WHO Surveillance Officers (SOs) on `Neglected Tropical Diseases’ will be held at RMRIMS, Patna, from April 18, 2017.  Sixty SOs,WHO, from across the country will attend the training programme.The neglected tropical diseases to be covered during the training programme will include Kala- azar (2 days), Leperosy (1 day) and Filaria (2 days). This training programme is important for elimination of Kala azar, Leprosy and Filaria  from India, according to an RMRIMS official.
