Patna : Covid-19 cases rose to 2,63,100 in Bihar on March 16, 2021, as 49 more persons including 15 from Patna, 5 each from Begusarai, Bhagalpur, and Gaya, 4 from East Champaran, 3 from Balanda, and 2 each from Kishanganj and Munger, tested positive for the pandemic on March 15, 29021. The active cases increased to 346 in Bihar including 179 in Patna on March 16, 2021. The number of active cases was 327 in Bihar on March 15, 2021.
Of the 2,63,100 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, a total of 2,61,200 patients have been declared cured including 29 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 99.28%. Bihar has tested 2,28,99,132 samples so far including 40,592 samples on March 15, 2021.
Covid-19 toll climbed to 1,553 in Bihar on March 16, 2021, with one new deaths being recorded in Patna in last 24 hours. With it, the toll increased to 447 in Patna on March 16, 2021.
