47 women elected councillors in Patna Municipal Corporation polls

Patna : Barring a few wards, results of the elections to 75 wards of Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC) were declared by 7 pm on June 9, 2017. The elections were held on June 4, 2017, at 1,512 polling stations. Altogeher 1,008 candidates were in the fray for the 75 wards of the coporation. Fortyseven women have been elected to PMC this year. The PMC polls are not held on  party symbols.
