Ara : Bhojpur police, on a tip off, conducted raid on the campus of a government middle school at Shital Tola near Bus Stand under Town police station, Ara, on August 2, 2017, and recovered 47 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL). But, police could not arrest the liquor smugglers. An FIR was lodged with Town police station in this regard against some unknown persons.
Sources said that recovery of liquor from the campus of a government middle school shows that some anti-social elements have say in the school administration. The locals had complained to the officials of the education department against anti-socials active on the school campus but the department never bothered to take action against them.
