Bokaro (Jharkhand) : Forty-six students of DPS Bokaro in Jharkhand have cleared  the prestigious Pre-Regional Mathematics Olympiad paving their way for Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMO). They made their mark with their exemplary performance.

RMO or Regional Mathematics Olympiad is the first round of mathematics contest (in India) leading to the prestigious International Mathematics Olympiad. The test is conducted in each of the 19 regions of India. From each region about 30 students are selected for the next level (Indian National Mathematics Olympiad).

The students who made it to the RMO are : Aditya Sandhwar, Tanmay, Ritul Kumar Singh,  Krrish Chanchal and Rasa Krishna Behera of Grade 9; Nishit Roshan, Soumya Thakur, Harsh Bihany, Ameya Devansh, Harshit Kumar, Akhil Anil, Harsh Rai and Rohit Verma of Grade 10; Shivansh Pandey, Tanish Ranjan, Utsav Shekhar, Ashit Aryan, Anurag Sinha, Deepanshu Kumar, Aditya Kumar, Atharv Tripathi, Satyam Sagar, Vipul Vaibhaw, Sreejan Nidhi,  Saurabh Raj, Shivam Kumar, Aditya Udyal, Niranjan Verma, Bahnikana Biswas, Ayush Kumar,  Utkarsh Kumar, Shiven Sinha, Satwik Singh, Rishav Mishra, Jai Gupta, Aryan Doshi, Nikhil Raj, Sumant Shyam and Shreya Shree of Grade 11; Abhishek Kumar, Abhijeet Anand, Aditya Anand, Abhijeet Kumar, Rahul Shrestha, Akshat Raj Singh and Pranshu Gaur of Grade 12.

Principal, DPS Bokaro, A S Gangwar, congratulated the students on their success and wished them luck for the future. “This achievement reflects the sincerity and hard work of the students as well as the teachers. Their persistent efforts will definitely bring more of such glories,” he added.
